Hospitality Team
Each Sunday we provide a coffee bar with light refreshments for those gathering before the Contemporary Worship Service.  If you like to serve others, this is a great opportunity for you.  Contact Annette Kennedy and join the team.
A warm welcome is always the norm at Fort Payne First.  Greeters welcome our guests at the door, provide a worship bulletin, and serve as ushers during Contemporary Worship.  Contact Lisa Ham if you are interested in serving.
Bread of Life
BOL is a community organization trying to meet the needs of those who are physically and spiritually hungry in our community. BOL is essentially a “soup kitchen” where hot meals are served three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Over 13 churches and organizations host the meals each month. Our church serves the 2nd Saturday of every month. Help is always needed in providing the food for the meals as well as providing music, devotion, or something for spiritual nourishment. Contact Steve Chambers for more information.
Happy Hands
This is a group of wonderful ladies who meet weekly to use their hands to create various items that will minister to our friends in the nursing home, or cancer patients, or even to service men. They meet each Tuesday in the Arts and Crafts room. For more information, contact Faith Richardson.
Youth Christmas Mission
Sponsored by the youth of our church, this is a time where they adopt a certain number of families each year and purchase clothing for the children and give food boxes for the family. This involves the entire congregation! For more information contact The Church Office.
Care Group
Brenda Bailey is in charge of this ministry to those within our church who are in need of having a meal prepared due to an illness or death. This group also provides the meals for families of the church when there is a death.
Children ages 8 and up are invited to be part of our alcolyte team for the 11 o’clock worship service. See Ashley Hosch or JoAnne Newton for more information.
Front Desk Volunteers
We have a strong team of volunteers who help out all functions of the church by volunteering at the front desk for several hours a week. See Betsy Smith for more information.
Senior Adult Ministry (Primetimers)
Our Older adult ministry which gathers monthly for a meal and time of fellowship and often take trips throughout the year. See Steve Chambers for more information.
