Sermon Recordings:
Dear Church Family, Friends and Visitors,

In the midst of all the upheaval that COVID-19 is causing, it has been so encouraging to see our church rising to the occasion and reaching out to our community. Today I heard it said that the church shines her best when the times get their worst. We are blessed to have such a strong vibrant church, especially as we encounter new challenges together.

As your church, we are adapting daily to be the best version of Christ’s body we can be; looking at creative ways to connect and meet needs while doing so in a wise and responsible manner.  As we follow the CDC and state guide-lines to help prevent the transmission of the virus, the regular services on Sunday’s  and Wednesday’s in the building are temporarily cancelled. Our offices will remain open during normal hours, and SOS will continue on a limited basis.
During this time that Worship Services have been postponed in the building, we will offer a Sunday sermon here and on Face Book.  You can watch from your home and still worship as a family (See Links at top of Page).
If you haven’t already, please contact the church to subscribe to our “email blast” for the latest news pertaining to our church.  Also, navigate to and like our Facebook page for more (see links below)
In His Grace,
Pastor Michael Miller

Worship Opportunities

Fort Payne First is excited to be able to offer two styles of worship to meet our community’s needs on Sunday mornings and one service that focuses on students on Wednesday evenings.
Contemporary Worship
At 8:30 a.m. each Sunday morning we gather in the Christian Life Center for our contemporary worship service. We come ready to worship through contemporary music, videos, images, drama, and much more. The Praise Team leads us in worship as we sing the songs you may have heard through the week on your local contemporary radio station. Sunday school follows contemporary worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Traditional Worship
At 11:00 a.m. each Sunday morning we gather in the sanctuary for our traditional worship service. You will experience the traditional hymns of the United Methodist Church, the affirmations of faith, the Lord’s Prayer, Scripture, and many other elements of worship that will leave you empowered to be the body of Christ in our community and world. Our Chancel Choir leads us in song and provides anthems and special music on a regular basis. Sunday school preceeds traditional worship at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday Night Live Student Worship
